Install LocalCan Root Certificate on iPhone


Installing the LocalCan root certificate on your iPhone or iPad is necessary to avoid security warnings when accessing your .local domains. This also ensures that all features, like hot reloading, work correctly on your device.
  1. Download RootCa.pem from the LocalCan sidebar.

  2. Send the file to your iPhone via AirDrop.

  3. A Profile Downloaded item should appear at the top of the Settings app. Tap it. If it's not there, go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management and select the LocalCan profile:

  4. Tap Install in the top-right corner. You may be asked to enter your passcode:

  5. Finally, go to Settings → General → About → Certificate Trust Settings and enable the toggle for LocalCan:

That's it! Your iPhone now trusts LocalCan, and you should be able to access your .local domains without any security warnings.
